Belarus. 1943. Having procured a rifle, a fourteen year old Flair leaves his village and joins the partisans. He meets a girl Glasha and falls in love. Going through the inhuman sufferings and turmoil — the death of loved ones, captivity, torturing by fascists — Flair finds courage to remain faithful to his values and protect his ideals of goodness, compassion, humanity.
